Arbre de Cerise is a beautiful, 400 year old farmhouse that has been lovingly restored and converted into two available gîtes.
Set in almost an acre of land, the gîtes are surrounded by sunflower and poppy fields and look out on to the peaceful, grassed courtyard where our majestic cherry tree stands – providing stunning blossom in early Spring, an abundance of cherries in May and cooling shade in the height of Summer.
Both gîtes have been refurbished to provide a high-quality, comfortable and well equipped living space and they contain Wifi, flat-screen TVs, satellite television channels, dvd players, iPod music systems and each gîte has its own bbq and outside dining area. There is a separate laundry facility on site should you wish to use it. Exposed stone walls, oak beams, 18th Century fireplace and a host of other original features lend charm and character to these properties.
Arbre de Cerise is child-friendly and the pool conforms to French legal safety standards. Cots, highchairs and stair-gates are available upon request.
The main N10 highway linking Paris to Spain is close by, thereby providing excellent road links. The closest northern port is at Caen which is a 4 hour drive. Calais is about 6 hours away and the nearest airport is 40 minutes away at Poitiers. 90 minutes away are the airports of Limoges, La Rochelle and Bordeaux.

Tournesol (Sunflower)
4 Bedrooms – Sleeps 8 People. From £650 per week. Short breaks also available.
Tournesol is the larger gîte, sleeping 8 people. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, cooker, microwave and has a large dining table to accommodate all 8 guests. It exits out on to the courtyard beyond. The extremely spacious living room has exposed stone walls, wooden flooring, and a new wood-burning stove in the original 18 Century fireplace. There is 42” flat screen TV with satellite channels and a dvd player. There are games and books in the lounge too.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms consisting of 1 kingsize room with ensuite shower room with basin and WC plus a double room, a twin room and one room containing bunkbeds. There is a separate bathroom for these rooms containing a shower, WC and wash handbasin.
Other amenities include a bbq and outside eating area with table and chairs, Wifi and access to the games barn and pool.

Coquelicot (Poppy)

Coquelicot is the smaller of our two gîtes and sleeps 4 people. The open-plan room downstairs features a fully-equipped kitchen, dining table and lounge area with television, satellite channels and dvd player.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms – one double and one twin room – both with exposed stone walls and wooden floors. The double room benefits from having traditional French windows with a Juliette balcony that opens out on to the courtyard below. The family bathroom contains a shower, WC and washbasin.
Other amenities include a bbq and outside eating area with table and chairs, Wifi and access to the games barn and pool.
